Francis Trucking came into existence as a means of support for the distribution of produce, our primary line of business. Since we traverse the United States to buy product from all of the major growing regions, we reach California, Washington, the Midwest, Pennsylvania and the Northeast, and of course Florida and the Southeast. We offer trucking services for all industries – perishables, dry goods, and frozen foods. We are strategically located in Greenville, SC, near I-85 and I-26.
Fleet
Our company owned fleet currently consists of 25 late model (2006-2010) 53’ Thermo King units that meet the new California Emission Standards. All units are equipped with Teletrac Satellite Systems, which allows for loads to be tracked continuously. We also own and manage a fleet of city trucks for the more local distribution needs.
Safety...Responsibility...Dependability
While traveling more than 2 million miles per year, Safety is our primary concern. All drivers meet DOT requirements and attend ongoing safety training. FP complies with all Federal, State, and Local health and environmental laws and regulations. Our team of staff (see contacts) and drivers work in tandem to ensure timely deliveries and dependable service. Customized deliveries are our specialty. Our drivers boast excellent driving records and years of consistent service. Willie Maddox, shown here, has been driving for Francis for over 20 years.
Tim Pitts manages the transportation end of FPC. This includes coordinating the deliveries of fruits and vegetables in and out of our warehouse, and to/from our produce customers. In addition, this same fleet of 25+ trucks is used to transport dry goods for other industries that need products delivered out to the west coast, up to the northeast, and down to Florida. Call him today to see if he can help you meet your own transportation needs.
Holly Davis brings a wealth of trucking knowledge to FPC. She spent 14 years with Spartan Express, and has since worked as a Transportation Consultant, ensuring DOT Compliance and managing fuel taxes. She also assists with payroll, helps to manage insurance enrollment, and maintains our human resources . Holly's calm leadership is a great value in an ever changing and progressing transportation industry.
Wendy Snead supports the Trucking division by setting delivery appointments with customers, reviewing trip sheets, and managing driver hours. Mainly, she works to meet customer expectations and to keep the drivers properly documented.
